Lab Manager

 Jessica graduated from Michigan State University in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience and a minor in Pharmacology and Toxicology. During her time in university, she worked in a neuropharmacology lab studying the effects of methylmercury on motor neurons and astrocytes in people with ALS. After graduating, she started a position at the University of Southern California where she worked in a gerontology lab that mainly studied transcription error rate and its impact on aging and disease. She is currently the lab manager in the Crooks lab, working with mice and the human ATO system to study thymus and T cell development. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking with her dog, Jasper, and attending local music shows and events
