MSTP Student, PhD Candidate, Molecular Biology
Julia is an MD/PhD student in the UCLA-Caltech Medical Scientist Training (MD/PhD) Program. She is from Bowling Green, KY and graduated from Emory University in 2019 with degrees in Chemistry and Biology. In the Crooks lab, she studies the effects of aging on T cell development and function. Outside of lab, Julia is the President and Founder of Med Mentors, an organization that provides free advising and resources to premed students at UCLA and beyond. She also enjoys riding her bike along the beach and exploring LA.
